Are you an alcoholic?
An alcoholic could be a person who has difficulty controlling their drinking perhaps a binge drinker, or the elderly woman in a nursing home who drinks herself to sleep each night. There are no two people who are the same or that the definition truly applies. However, the most important thing is that if you think or believe your life has become unmanageable you may be an alcoholic.
There are many options available to someone evaluating if they are having problems with drinking.
1. Have you tried stopping on your own and had difficulty?
2. Have you tried self help books like The Cure to stop drinking and not been able to help youself?
3. Have you called your local AA chapter and met at one of their free friendly self help groups?
4. Have you considered a short term or long term rehab for your drinking problems?
5. Basically do you want to live a happier life without alcoholic thoughts and questioning yourself?
